Manual work as the exposed face of conceptual art

For over 25 years, Ricardo Rendón has investigated the transformation of industrial and construction materials through calculated artistic intervention. His practice functions as a complex diary where actions are recorded, documented, and accumulated — exploring gravity, balance, and the eternal transformation of matter.

Rendón's work has been exhibited at the Reina Sofía Museum, Museo Tamayo, MUAC, Maison Rouge in Paris, and numerous international venues. His work is part of collections including CIFO, Jumex, Bank of America, and the Isabel & Agustín Coppel Collection. He is a member of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores (FONCA).
