Making Evidence

Galerie Mitterrand + Sanz is pleased to present Making Evidence, the first solo exhibition in Zurich of the artist Ricardo Rendón (Mexico City, 1970).

Making Evidence presents a series of works composed by interventions in different spaces and materials. Hand perforated blinds, a cinder wall spattered with pigment or industrial felts trimmed in organic shapes appear as document and testimony of different work procedures within the exhibition space, turning it into a setting determined by the creative experience, an ambient where the work is presented as a fact and evidence of the creative execution.

Galerie Mitterrand + Sanz tiene el placer de presentar Making Evidence, la primera exposición individual en Zúrich del artista Ricardo Rendón (Ciudad de México, 1970).

Making Evidence presenta una serie de obras compuestas por intervenciones en diferentes espacios y materiales. Persianas perforadas a mano, una pared de bloques salpicada de pigmento o fieltros industriales recortados en formas orgánicas aparecen como documento y testimonio de diferentes procedimientos de trabajo dentro del espacio expositivo, convirtiéndolo en un escenario determinado por la experiencia creativa, un ambiente donde la obra se presenta como hecho y evidencia de la ejecución creativa.
