PLATAFORMA ACTIVA is a sculpture and sound improvisation project by the artist Ricardo Rendón through the manipulation of a series of sound sculptures and the processing of their sound in real time through modular electronics.
The vibration resulting from the movement and collision of the iron elements of the sculptures is processed through sensors and a modular synthesis system built to receive, process and generate sonic elements in response to their movement.
PLATAFORMA ACTIVA is presented as a dynamic scenario of sonic expression and sculptural composition that is continuously modified through the public activation of the sculptures and the participation of natural forces such as gravity and inertia to condition their movement and sonic possibility.
PLATAFORMA ACTIVA es un proyecto de escultura e improvisación sonora del artista Ricardo Rendón mediante la manipulación de una serie de esculturas sonoras y el procesamiento de su sonido en tiempo real mediante electrónica modular.
La vibración fruto del movimiento y choque de los elementos de hierro de las esculturas es procesado mediante sensores y un sistema de síntesis modular construido para recibir, procesar y generar elementos sonoros como respuesta a su movimiento.
PLATAFORMA ACTIVA se presenta así como un escenario dinámico de expresión sonora y composición escultórica que se modifica de manera continua mediante la activación pública de las esculturas y la participación de fuerzas naturales como la gravedad y la inercia para condicionar su movimiento y posibilidad sonora.
